Does anyone else have a real problem with sweetners? All of them make me sick. I thought I would get used to it but it got worse by the day. I think I have tried them all. I finally decided to to allow myself 1 or 2 cups of tea with sugar per day. I am still losing slowly but really wish I could do it like everyone else. I gave up coffee and swithched to tea because I knew I would need real sugar and milk in my coffee. Since I am not used to the tea sticking to my limit isn't difficult. I just don't want to give up all caffine.
How bad will this effect my efforts? Does anyone else have this problem with sweetners?
Please advise

I'm allergic to fillers in all the crystalline forms with the exception of some saccharine products (yuk!). I use stevia fiber or stevia drops. IT is found in the health food section of the store, in the viatmins (not in the sweeteners). Try www.sweetleaf.com for more info on what stevia is.
For more info on this subject contained on this board, you might want to do a search using the "find messages about" bar on top.
Have you tried Splenda?
Susan :)
Stevia made you sick? What happened? I'm not questioning that you got sick, but I am wondering if it was not the sweetener but something else that made you sick?
i'm pretty new to SBD and splendid is too gross for me to use. like you, i have stopped drining coffee and am now only drinking tea. i also use sugar in the raw. from everything i've heard about sugar being bad is because of the bleaching process. the raw sugar is delish and i feel that it's healthier. also, i've cut down on the amount of sugar i use.

Sugar is sugar, as far as the absorption into your body is concerned.

I searched Prevention.com for you on the raw sugar question.
