Just my two cents - I do it exactly the same way with sauteing the veggies first and then adding the eggs to the pan.

Here is another way to make really simple omlets (scrambled eggs)- I chop up my veggies and toss them with my egg whites (whole eggs can be used as well) in a sprayed (PAM or something similar) microwavable dish. I cover with saran wrap and microwave for about a minute, stir (the outside cooks first) and do that for about 3 minutes (depends on microwave strength). If you want more of an omlet just don't stir it and it is more like an egg waffle. After that, I put it on my plate and usually zap it again for about 10 sec with a slice of ff cheese on it.

Word of caution- after you are done, wash your dish right away or put into sink to soak- otherwise the egg is hard to get off.

Good luck!

THANKS!!!!!

It seems easier to just make scrambled eggs with added veggies....

I can't stand runny eggs either!!!

I'll let you know how it turns out!

I do mine more like scrambled eggs. I saute the veggies a little first and then pour the egg over them. Then I scramble them up as they go with a spatula. No flipping required. Made them this morning, they were yummy! Also, if I want cheese in it, I usually add grated cheese to the egg mixture before it goes into the pan. Same goes for any spices - thyme, oregano, etc. And I suppose if you want ham in it (I don't eat ham), you could cut up ham into little pieces and put it into the mixture too.

that sounds a bit easier.

I finally found the canadian bacon, so I'm going to try that!

I spray the pan with Pam, and turn on the heat.
