I'll try again...Does anybody know if we can have Soy crispies on phase I? They are like chips, only they are high in protein, low in fat, low in carbs and have less than 3gr. (or 3gr) of sugar. They're really good :)

I'm not exactly sure of the exact nutritional value...I'll check it out. But you can find them in almost any grocery/video store.

My concern would be what they are cooking them in.

These chips are wonderful. I used to eat them before. I'm not a vegetarian but I am a healthy eater and don't eat red meat at all. I haven't eaten red meat in about 10-11 years. However, I do enjoy my chicken and seafood. I also enjoy eating soy products and drinking soy milk sometimes.

I would say these chips are great to include on your diet (this diet) but I would also agree with the CL to check the packaging to see what they are being cooked in. I would bet that no one making soy chips would turn around and fry them up in terrible oils..otherwise what would be the point?? I have never checked the packaging but I will the next time I'm in the stores.

I got excited when I saw the word chips and phase I all in the same sentence. Can we have these for sure on phase I? I'm going to look at the grocery store on the way home which is in about 15 minutes and see if they have them. Thanks!

Can we have these for sure on phase I?

No, because they are made with soy flour, they will be for Phase 2....if the label checks out okay, as far as what fats they were cooked in, other ingredients,

Didn't find ANYTHING on these in the new "Good Fats Good Carbs Guide" - so I agree, when in doubt, wait for phase 2.

Thanks to all of you!

Yes, I will have them on a rare ocassion. For those of you who don't know them. I would really advice them. The taste may vary: sour onion, bbq, etc.

Enjoy!
