Anyone using a George Foreman grill?

I received the JUMBO Foreman for Christmas and it came with a free rotisserie. WOW - both are great tools when cooking for the South Beach WOE! At first, I was putting it away every night, but now I just keep that bad boy out on the counter.

Plus, the grill came with a large cookbook with many SBD-friendly recipes (you just have to look for them). I can't believe how quickly it cooks (6 minutes for thick pork chops, 4-5 minutes for chicken, just a couple minutes for grilled veggies) - and how perfect everything turns out.

If you find yourself short on time - or like me, find that you're not a great cook, you cannot do wrong with this grill.

Geez, I sound like a commercial. I just wanted to pass on a healthy, time saving tip.

even though i know that it cooks both sides at once, I still flip half way through. The food never comes out dry.

I love my Foreman grill for fish, chicken and veggies. For beef - not so much. The grill generates a lot of steam, and steamed beef isn't my cup of tea. You get grill marks, but definitely not a grilled flavor.

Thank you, George!

Thank you all for the cleaning tip and for the link to more recipes! (Cleaning it was my only complaint - but it paled in comparison to how much I love the flavor and speed!)

Happy grilling!
