Just a thought?? How many times can you RE start? How many times would one have to "slip" before you would have to start counting the "14 phase I days" again?

Try not to look at it as "starting over" but as "getting back on track" If you indulge in something not so SBD friendly, it's easier to stay with the program if you don't consider it as "blowing it" or giving up! Don't wait for the next morning to "restart" but begin making better choices with the next snack or meal. Add a little extra effort to the next workout and move on. Life happens!
As for how long to return to P1 for? My guess would be a day or two (up to a week) until your body tells you it's moving in the right direction again (no cravings). Do the whole 14 days again if you'd like, but don't suffer! You have to enjoy this WOE if you want to stick with it long term. It may take a little longer for the weight to come off if you have more setbacks, but ultimately it will come off. Just stick with it!
I agree with what Debbie said, you don't need to keep starting over if you "slip".
