I have just read an article on SELF magazine on the different diets going around.. has anyone read it? It talks about SBD (I'll try to write the article for you to read) but among all the things that it says (not very good things I might add), it says that Dr. A. has his GI's upsidedown...what's up with that?

What else did this article say? That gives me concerns since I am new to the SBD. IS the article online?

LOL, I'm picturing my buddy Dennis (Army boy), diving out of the plane (he's Airborne). Hehehehe, you had to give me that image, didn't you?

Here it goes:

"The regimen seeks to curb cravings by controlling insulin levels, a concept that didn't strike our experts as unique 'It's a standard low-carb plan...it frowns at the white stuff...' and it continues: "it nods to the GI (wich the author misunderstands), overall most patients found it unrealistic"...." unless you stay on top of every morsel, don't expect a miracle weight loss"

Misunderstands the GI??? HOW???

"....most patients found it unrealistic"...." unless you stay on top of every morsel, don't expect a miracle weight loss" ..."

It seems obvious to me that they probably didn't talk to many people who have tried the SBD.
