I know that eggs are a huge part of SBD, and that there is a TON of cooking/cleanup too. Here's one way to sidestep a little cleanup, that I just love. My eldest son taught me this, a friend of his taught him, our whole family (aunts and grandmas too) does it. To make an omlette, scramble eggs in a bowl, then put into a sandwich or quart size ziplock bag. Then add cheeses, veggies, ham etc. Squeeze out as much air as possible and zip bag. Place bag in boiling water for about 15 mins. Unzip bag and turn out onto plate. It is amazing, the eggs are in this perfect tube, with the cheese in the middle all melty. This works with eggbeaters too. We keep a pot of water on the stove at all times, just light the stove, and get going. No pan to clean! Paper plate to serve, one bowl to rinse and put away!

Wow! That sounds good...not having to stand over a skillet trying to get the perfect flip for my omelette.
Can you believe I have to live with this Woman? What was amazing is after my son showed us how to do this we went to visit my my 82 year old mother in Chicago. One of my older Sisters dropped by to join us for breakfast. When we mentioned how to do this she jumped up and had to try it. Just make sure you leave the bagged eggs in the water for 15 mins and it will come out perfect every time.

Hello Cathy and thanks for the welcome back. Exercise???????? What's Exercise????? LOL!
Well needless to say, I have been a bad boy. I really have to go back to the spring and summer months if you want to talk mention exercise. Last spring I was riding my Recumbent bike outside and was able to get up to 10 to 15 miles a day, but I was not on the south beach at the time and I got somewhat frustrated with my lack of weight loss. Since I have been recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, I now certainly understand that value of making the lifestyle change in my eating habits that Dr. Agatston hoped that the people following his program would.
Other than the bicycle, I bought a used Sail Boat(Melges MC Scow) for Miranda and Myself, and we joined the local Sailing Association that is near our home. Miranda and I actually competitively sailed just about every weekend last summer. We even traveled to compete.
Now please do not spank me or laugh. I failed to set the Bike up in the house this winter, but Miranda and I are in the process of doing it now. We also have a Bowflex that I purchased at least 2 years ago that we have not really used. Once again since I have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, I was told, I needed to exercise 3 times a week and should start with 30mins a day. I am certainly taking this more seriously now and I intend to comply.
