Veggie burger question

Hi -- I got some veggie burgers this weekend. Of course, there were 3 different brands at the store:
Morningstar
Bocca
Gardenburger
They had the burgers, crumbles, sausages, bacon -- wow, all kinds of things. Not knowing much about them, I bought a burger box of each of the brands, but selected a different flavor in each brand.
I had one of the Bocca portobella burgers -- quite good.
I read previously that these are counted as protein, and not veggie. The Bocca burgers first ingredient is brown rice -- so do I count one as a grain also?
Thanks!
Sue

Hey, about the Morningstar farms patties...I bought the spicy black bean ones for Jason, but when I got home, I saw they have CORN in them!!?? Is that okay? I would hate to have bought these darn things and not be able to eat them, they are EXPENSIVE.
TIA
Randa
These are the ones I purchase:
BOCA MEATLESS BURGERS ALL AMERICAN FLAME GRILLED
Ingredients: WATER, SOY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE, REDUCED FAT CHEDDAR CHEESE (PASTEURIZED PART SKIM MILK, CHEESE CULTURE, SALT, ENZYMES, ANNATTO , VITAMIN A PALMITATE), WHEAT GLUTEN, CONTAINS LESS THAN 2% OF METHYLCELLULOSE, SALT, YEAST EXTRACT, CHEESE POWDER (CHEDDAR CHEESE , CREAM, SALT, LACTIC ACID), DRIED ONIONS, NATURAL FLAVOR (NON-MEAT), CARAMEL COLOR, SESAME OIL, BROWNED IN CORN OIL.
MorningStar Garden Veggie patties:Each pattie is a savory vegetable and grain burger with a blend of carrots, mushrooms, bell peppers, black olives, brown rice and rolled oats.
It is recommended to wait until phase 2 to introduce the meatless burgers that contain brown rice or corn.
Thanks Cathy!
