tortilla question

I haven't bought tortillas in a long time so I'm kind of out of touch with which ones are best. I am planning to make the ropa vieja this weekend and I was just browsing on my delivery website for tortillas. They have two different La Tortilla varieties, both whole wheat, one advertised as "low carb" and the other "fat free." I'm not sure if either of these is ok . . . both have oat flour and some other stuff as their first ingredients. They also have the SBD tortillas, which I assume are ok, but they have a lot more calories. The other options did not appear to have enough fiber. Suggestions?

This is a tough question because those low carb breads are confusing and because bread manufacturers frequently change there formulations which make previously approved products lower in fiber than our guidelines call for. The bottom line is to look for tortillas that are 100% whole grain as the first ingredient and have a minimum of 3g fiber per 1 ounce or 30 grams serving.
That said, I did a search and found a discussion that may (or may not) help you figure this one out:

HTH,
If you can find the South beach wraps, they are made by tortilla factory and taste the same.
