Make Love, Not Brownies
When late-night hunger hits, the solution might be in your bedroom, not in your fridge, say Michael Roizen, MD, and Mehmet Oz, MD, authors of You: On a Diet. Why? Because the desire to make love and the desire to eat are both seated in the same area of the brain (the hypothalamus) and governed by the same hormone (neuropeptide Y).
"Oftentimes an eating problem can be curbed by having regular, monogamous, healthy sex," say Roizen. "By satisfying one appetite center, you seem to satisfy the other."
While we can't promise that getting busy will always cure the midnight munchies, it's certainly worth a try! And before you think it's too good to be true, we should point out that you can't also count it as your exercise for the day. A 135-pound woman burns a scant 39 calories with each 30-minute lovemaking session. So make sure to get your heart racing another way as well.

Tell someone else to have sex, not seconds.

That's sorta what I thought when I read this one!
I love it, T!
Well, I can assure you this doesn't work for me. We have lots of sex - far more than anyone else I know - it's just our married personality and I'm still hungry.
Though today it's been determined I am not hungry I'm just TIRED so maybe I've over-eating???
I wish my dh would read this and give it a shot - he'd rather just snooze through his midnight snacking urges. He'd pretty much rather snooze through anything! Oh well - what can ya do when someone works 16 hr days?
