Hi there!
I just started SBD, last Monday. Four days in, and it truly hasn't been that hard! Thank goodness.
My biggest challenge is not denying myself bread, pasta or dairy. Oddly enough, it's my nightly glass of red wine. Luckily, week nights don't prove to be too much of a problem... but the weekend is fast approaching! It's somewhat ironic, that I chose a diet in which wine is limited (although I know it's only at first). My husband just finished our wine cabinet, and it will hold 140+ bottles. All of our friends know about our new cabinet addition, and have started dropping off wine bottles to help fill it!!! It's not torture to leave them alone, the bottles look quite pretty (unopened) in the cabinet.
Besides that, I'm glad I've found a diet that isn't terribly hard to stick to. All of my friends have gone back to their college weight. And I'm the last to take 'the plunge.' I have about 15-20 lbs. to lose. But, I would be ecstatic to lose 30 and be back at my high school / college weight!
I only hope that I can keep my will power in check and hit my goal. It would be REALLY great to look fabulous this summer!
Cheers to all!

Welcome!
Just popping in to say welcome! I'm sure you'll find that it does get easier over time, and there's nothing wrong with a glass of good wine now and again!
I see from your profile that you live in Kansas City...I lived there for about 3 years, and really grew to love it! I'm planning a trip back this spring to meet up with my best friend from there...can't wait to see how much has changed since I moved away almost 13 years ago!
Hi, and welcome!
Cheers to all,
Andrea
I hate to tell you this, but those Yoplait Whips aren't legal.
Some of them are Fat free, but they still contain high fructose
Crud!
Cheers to all,
Andrea
Maybe I should post what I'm eating, that way it's a good checks and balance system... at least for a little while.
It's nice to have people there for support, that know what they're doing!
Hugs and hopes,
Andrea
Cheers to all,
Andrea
Posting a journal is a great idea--the CLs and other people have such great advice!
I don't like plain yogurt, either, but there's alot you can do to it to jazz it up. One of my favorite breakfasts (and I think it's true for many people here) is to mix natural PB into plain FF yogurt w/ a packet of splenda. It looks nasty, but YUM! Actually I usually use half Dannon Light n Fit vanilla yogurt and half FF plain yogurt when I make it. Then there's the famous cheesecake yogurt, which you can add it phase 2--mix a 32 oz. container of plain FF yogurt with a package of SF cheesecake pudding mix (I actually use about a package and a half)--SOOO good with a handful of mixed berries tossed on top!
I know alot of people like to mix the SF DaVinci syrups into their yogurt, too...
