I tried to send you an e-mail but didn't have contact info. I just wanted to send a huge cyber {{{hug}}} to you after reading last week's very disheartening exchange. I was aghast at the tone and manner of the posts aimed towards you. You have been a constant and unwavering voice of reason, support, and good cheer throughout my time on the South Beach board and I, for one, always appreciate hearing your opinions (and fact-based information as well) about all types of things related to diet, exercise, overall good health, sex (LOL!), and finding balance in life. I will never be the size 1 that you are, nor do I strive for that, but we both continue to work towards good health not only for ourselves but for our families and I have been so helped by learning about all the ways you have incorporated healthful habits into your daily life. Thank you, and don't let the turkeys get you down.

MichaelAnn,
I very rarely post here, so I'm not sure if you're interested in my opinion regarding your SB project for school, but here it is anyway:
If you are serious about using your before and after photos, I think you should start out with the before and not reveal the after until the very end of the presentation. You look like a completely different person, and I think it would make a huge impact to start out with a picture of a "nameless" overweight woman who starts on a SB journey. Then, after explaining the plan and the science behind it, or whatever you are going to talk about, end it by showing that you are that same woman. I know if I were in your class, I would be both shocked and extremely impressed.
Good luck with your project, no matter what you decide.
And, FWIW I agree with the others here. You are indeed an inspiration. When I feel like eating off plan, I think of you or Dana. For some reason, the before and after photos from you two ladies really stick in my memory...

Thank you so much Aimee! Of course I am interested in your opinion, doesn't matter how much you post!
I actually think that is kind of a neat idea! I may have to see if that will work out with the template he gave us (we have a "topic" for each slide like #1 title, #2 into, #3 history, etc.) But if I can work it in, I might just do that!

Excellent idea!
