What's Up This Weekend?

What are your plans for the weekend? Has spring arrived in your state yet? Will you be dining out this weekend, or cooking in? Tell us your plans!

My daughter is coming home from college for spring break today!!!! So, I hope to spend some time with her this weekend and during the coming week. I hope she sticks around at home a bit! Her girlfriends all had spring break last week, so she'll only be able to spend time with them over the weekend, until they go back on Sunday. My girls LOVE corned beef and cabbage, so we will have that either Sunday or Monday. I know it's not SB friendly, but I'll eat a small piece of corned beef as well as lots of the cabbage and some sweet potatoes.

Today I am heading to Wegmans for a shopping trip and lunch with some girlfriends. I've never been to Wegmans (it's about a 30 minute drive) and I'm excited to find some new and interesting things to have over the weekend. The restaurant we're going to makes an amazing shrimp and crab salad stuffed into an avocado half. I am drooling just thinking about it! After that, we have ladies happy hour in the neighborhood (I know it seems like it, but we really don't do it every Friday :-P ).

I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

What are your plans for the weekend? Not sure yet. Was going to do yard work, but...well, I think that's out the door. Want to take the kids bowling, want a date night with DH, and I need to start researching and planning for my veggie garden.

Has spring arrived in your state yet? I live in Colorado. It comes and then it goes and then it comes and then...well, today spring is gone. Woke up to 4 inches of snow and it was still coming down.

Sounds like you have a great weekend planned! Enjoy your time with your friends and DD.

I have my monthly bunco game tonite. My neighbor is hosting, and she's making stromboli and her "famous" Special K bars...I may be in trouble there! I can never seem to resist those.

Tomorrow I think DH is working a bit, and DS has a birthday party in the afternoon. DD may have a friend over if she can come. We are hosting the class guinea pigs for the weekend, so I'm sure we'll be playing with them alot! Tomorrow night we are going out for my birthday to a new tapas restaurant with some friends. I'm excited to finally have someplace new to try! They have quite an extensive wine list, and I'm really looking forward to that!

This weeks' weather has been pretty nice (40's-50), so quite a bit of snow melting! But spring won't really find us til sometime in April...though the kids are very excited for the "official" first day of spring next Thursday!

We have a playdate scheduled with some friends in NJ tomorrow morning, then tomorrow night DH and I have a date...it's our last opera for the season in NYC.

Since DS is still sick, I'm sure we will just be staying around the house this weekend.

Hi Crystal! I've been past Superior on the way to Boulder and passing through to Estes Park. Rocky Mtn National Park is on of my favorite places on the planet.

I live in Colorado Springs. The entire region got quite a lot of snow. One of those surprise spring storms. VERY wet and heavy and slushy. But beautiful. Completely. I don't have spring fever too bad this year, so I didn't mind seeing it. The longer I live in this state (since 1999) the more prepared I am that spring will come in spurts before we land smack in a hot summer.

Nice to meet someone "up the road" ;)
