Your thoughts on "Tide Me Overs"

I just purchased the Tropical Tide me Over and wondered if any of  you gals have tried it yet and what your thoughts were.  I, personally didn't like it.  I have been buying the sugar free drink packets that you add to your water for sometime, my favorite being Ruby Red Grapefruit from Spark (walmart sells them and they are quite a bit cheaper than Crystal light and all the other ones). I tasted the Tide Me Over and thought it tasted very sweet.  I did notice that you are suppose  to add it to a 16 oz bottle of water (that you take a large gulp out of before pouring in the mixture), and I added it to a 12 oz bottle, maybe that made a difference.  What do any of you think that have tried it?

I use the Tide Me Over once in a while, but I agree I think they are incredibly sweet. I add mine to a liter of water and it tastes much better to me!

I personally like them quite a bit. The tropical is my favorite, but I like the strawberry banana too. I usually mix them into a 20oz bottle of water though - and I will always have a bit of sweet tooth. The tropical reminds me of an Orange Julius - since it gets kind of foamy.

I mostly like them for their function, I use them at school when I have 4+ hrs of class with no break - right at lunch time. My teachers allow drinks, but most don't like snacks in class, so these are prefect for getting me through so that when I leave I am not famished and make a bad choice on the way home.

I like the flavor, but I have a hard time getting them to dissolve properly.

I'm drinking this at my desk right now for the first time.

Maggie, I've recently started stretching the SB Tide Me Over packets to 34oz. and they are still plenty sweet enough and helps me get more fluid in for the day. I do this with the Crystal Lite packets as well, but they don't stretch quite as well.
