APRIL FOOL'S CHALLENGE- It's the Weekend
| Fri, 03-21-2008 - 8:53am |
We're down to the home stretch. 10 days left in the Challenge.
How did you do this week?
This weekend poses additional challenges with Easter on Sunday. Do you have plans for the weekend? What are your specific challenges and how will you handle them?
You've got the strength within you. You Can Do It!

Weekends are a challenge in themselves but any holiday with my family means plently of food.
Well, last week I was 0.4 pounds away from making my challenge goal and this week I'm 3.2 pounds away so I have no idea if I'm doing anything right or wrong at this point.
Holidays are a big challenge with my very Italian family, too.
I totally feel your frustration.
How did you do this week?
Know how you feel, Maggie. The stomach crud hit me a few days ago and it's been hard to get anything done since. In addition, I think I triggered an allergy attack a few days ago and have been running a slight fever. I'm just hoping not to share it with the family.
This Sunday, we'll be going to DH's Mother's house for lunch (if I'm feeling well enough). We will bring a legal dish or two and an almost legal dessert. It shouldn't be too much of a challenge, I don't think. She's fixing ham, green beans and potato salad and potato salad doesn't actually thrill me anymore, so I can pass on that in favor of other things. I'm sure there will be plenty of Easter candy around, but I plan on just having a piece or two of dark chocolate that the Easter Bunny will be bringing here. This year, I'll probably get some exercise by hiding Easter eggs for the kids.
