 Focus On How You Feel

This Week's Assignment

Begin by asking yourself the following. Since you've started the Challenge:

  • Do you feel more energetic, more rested, get better sleep?
  • Have any of your health problems diminished? (While you may be seeing progress on the outside, you should make a doctor's visit to check on your insides!)
  • Have you added or considered adding exercise to your routine? What difference has that made?

Also, it's time to review your mini-goal. Have you achieved it? If so, congratulate yourself for the good work and set a new goal. If not, figure out why you may have had trouble. Was it lack of motivation? Not enough time? The need for more support? Set a new goal to achieve within the next week. Options might include using the stairs at work rather than the elevator, or drinking more water each day — whatever you feel would most benefit your health going forward!

Have a great week everyone!  Together we can do it.

Hi Cathy! Pretty new siggie you have!

No, the weekend wasn't hard as we didn't really do an easter dinner, nor any chocolate, so it was just a normal weekend....which sometimes is good! : )

My biggest hurdle lately is eating enough...I 'm always hungry and then when I think back, I realize I barely ate or had little weenie portions...

Mostly I think I'm scrimping on cooking as the kitchen is full of boxes due to getting ready for BF's move and there isn't room to move anywhere, so I don't take the time to really cook or prepare much.

oh well...still holding my own weight wise....same weight but looking more toned and better....exercise is increasing and overall quite happy with how this challenge is panning out!

I'm still around but it's been horrible around here. I'm doing decent with my eating but I went 4 days without exercise and I'm mostly likely not going to reach my goal. My husbands mom has Alzheimers and everything took a turn for the worse, we spent a few days at the hospital and I actually did better than I thought I would with eating during that. It's just been tough and my weight is being stubborn.

Misty, you can do this!!! Remind yourself that you are a very strong lady. You made your goal weight right??? Not alot of people ever achieve that, you know???

Keep lots of legal snacks around so that you can munch on those when you get that nicotine urge. I know it's hard. I've been smoke-free for 15 years now and I can't tell you how good that feels!!! You will do this...you have to, it's for your health!!!
