We do them every year. And every year, they get turned into deviled eggs for easter appetizers and are gone in about 15 minutes. Seriously. about 15 eggs, gone. LOL
Would you believe we boiled the eggs and never got around to coloring them. So, some very sad white eggs are waiting to be eaten. I'll have one later for a snack.
I just remembered something my mom used to make us for lunch when we were kids: Eggs A La Russe.
She sliced hard-boiled eggs in an egg slicer and fanned the slices out on a bed of lettuce and added a dollop of Russian dressing. I'll have to make some nsa Russian dressing and have this for lunch this week.
LOL I should have hard boiled and colored some eggs for sean, but there's no way I could have done it with me and the kids it would have been a disaster! haha
But he does love some devilled eggs! I'venot had hard boiled eggs in a long time!

If your hard boiled eggs have been left out for more than 2 hours they could contain harmful salmonella bacteria.
