I am wondering if Deli sliced roast beef is ok for Phase 2? On my one list it says Steamship roast beef but I am really not sure what that is.
I have been eating Dannon Light and Fit Vanilla yogurt with some strawberries, is this yogurt a 4oz or 8oz limit per day?
I bought some LaTortilla Factory Tortillas but I think they were the wrong one's. For 36g (1) they have 50 cal,2g fat, 8g of fiber, 0 sugar, 5g protein BUT the ingred list is water, oat fiber, whole wheat flour, soy flour.
If these are not ok which of their brands work for SB?
I am not sure if anyone has heard of these rolls. Someone doing Atkins came up with them and someone revised the recipe a bit for SB. I was going to make them but unsure what the limit should be per day. Any idea's?
OOpsie Rolls Done South Beach
3 large eggs
Splenda to equal 2 tsp. sugar
dash salt
pinch cream of tartar
4 ounces (1/2 of 8 oz. package) Kraft Philadelphia Reduced Fat cream cheese (Neufatchel cheese) - note that the original called for a 3 oz. package of regular cream cheese
Preheat oven to 300. Line baking pan with foil and spray very generously with pam.
Separate eggs into two bowls.
Add splenda, salt and cream cheese to the yolks and set aside.
Beat egg whites with tartar until stiff. Then use same beaters to beat yolk mixture until soupy.
Pour yolk mixture over egg whites and fold in gently with tablespoon.
Drop by mounds onto foil lined pan and bake 30 min. You want them slighly softer, not hard and crumbly. Cool thoroughly, then gently peel off foil.
Mine made 5 big "rolls" (they really look like flat discs).
The inventor of the original recipe Cleochatra advises to store these in a zip lock bag with the bag open partially so they don't go over-moist. Also take them out of the fridge and leave on the counter 15-30 minutes, until they are at room temp, before serving, to make more "dry" and less sticky

The recipe for "rolls" (cream cheese, eggs, etc) - that makes 5 servings?
Thanks.
Here is the yogurt details
Light & Fit Nonfat Vanilla
Serving Size: 6 oz; 170g
This one looks fine to have in Phase 2, with 1 cup (8 oz) being a serving of dairy.
