Eating on the road

Hello to all!
I travel quite a bit for my job. Usually I'm in small towns, that only have a fast food restaurant or two anywhere within miles.
What can I eat on Phase 2? For dinner, I try and visit the local grocery store and get SBD friendly items, or visit a restaurant with a salad bar.
But that's not always possible. For lunch I always have to go through the drive thru. What's SB friendly???

The grocery store idea is great, and a lot of stores even have salad bars.
Here's the Fast Food Guide.
My dh used to spend 90% of his workday on the road. Even though we were in a large area with lots of restaurants, stopping for a sitdown meal was not possible due to time constraints, so all meals had to be eating while driving. So he packed his lunch every day.
I'm not sure if I understood - do you fly in and stay in a hotel, then drive around? Or are you driving from home but just in the car all day?
If you are flying and staying in a hotel and have limited refrigeration, you could stop and get a day's worth of food at the grocery store each morning. A lot of grocery stores will give you free ice to take your cold stuff home with (I always ask in the meat/fish dept for a small bag of the ice they use in the case to pack around my meat for the trip home) - you could bring an insulated cooler, stop at the grocery store in the morning and pack it up with deli meats, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, fruit, etc. Along with non-perishables like crackers, cereal bars, nuts, etc. and easily bring a whole days worth of food in the car with you. I you have access to refrigeration, you could just stock up and use reusable freezer packs to pack your lunches in.
