Salad Dressing and Starbucks

Ewww, not that the two go together but I have a question about each one
1) Salad dressing is ok to have as long as it's 3 grams sugar or less even if it has sugar listed in the ingredients? I know HFCS is a no-no. Also, can I use 4 tbsp at lunch if I don't plan on any for dinner?
2) I have 2 Starbucks gift cards from my sisters and I want to know what is legal from that place. Everything sounds so good there.
TIA.................Molly

You can use your salad dressing allowance all at lunch if you aren't using any other fats/oils from the list.
The skinny latte's are great! My favorite is vanilla, but I also like the caramel. I've been drinking one a day since January - sometimes 2 if work is bad!
I've also seen on this board where they count as dairy, not sweet treat since they are made with sugar free syrup and milk. Just make sure they really do use SF syrup - yesterday afternoon they messed up mine and I didn't catch it until I got back to my office.

I have never even SEEN something called a Skinny Latte on the menu board. Is that the name of an actual drink, or just what you all call it?
I order a tall sugar free vanilla non fat cappuccino usually. I would imagine that's ok to order? I am sure it counts as some dairy, but latte's have way more milk. I just don't like milky/creamy coffee.
Yes they are actually called Skinny Lattes. They have just been recently added (within the last 2 or 3
The skinny latte is the same as the nonfat sugar-free latte. I guess Starbucks decided that so many people were ordering them that they would give them a shorter name. Although I still don't hold much faith in the name and so I verify "now that is with NF mil & SF syrup, right?" Hehehehe
I have not seen them on the menu yet that way but I don't go there that often. I get maybe 1 every week or two(they are so expensive!)

Thanks everyone, I will definitely make sure they are using all sf ingredients.

They recently rearranged the menu again. They used to have an actual section for Skinny Lattes, but now I think they are under the classics - but I could be wrong, I never look at the menu.
I'm in there at least once a day, it's an expensive habit, but I figure it's cheaper than being unemployed - if I don't have my (at least) daily Skinny Vanilla Latte I'm bound to strangle the dumb girl I work with.

It is an expensive habit - but I've been lucky that everyone knows I love Starbucks so I always get gift cards for everything - Christmas, bdays, thank you gifts, etc. I won one at the PTA Christmas party last year, I got two this year from teacher's at my dd's school as a thank you for volunteering, etc. I don't think I have actually PAID for a latte in a year even though I got 3-4 times a week!
And yes - after the initial roll out mine got rid of the "special" section for them and they are under the regular menu. I don't think the name helped much - since I order decaf and usually iced when its spring/summer, I still have to say "iced, venti, decaf, skinny cinnamon dolce latte" - its still quite a mouth full!
