I have my South Beach presentation today in biology. I am SO nervous - I spent over an hour last night trying to figure out what to wear - feel like I have to really look my best because after they see my b&a pic they are going to be scrutinizing my body the whole rest of the presentation! And I must have taken that b&a picture out like 10 times, and then put it back. Its emailed to my professor now, so its in there. I figured I really need it to give me some type of credibility - a lot of these people in the class already have some very bad ideas about SB(we were talking about each other's topics the other day in the hall before class).
The hardest part is going to be keeping to less than 7 min. Every time I practice I end up at like 20min! How do explain SB, the principals, and the benefits in 7min?

MichaelAnn, you are going to be amazing!
That's so great that you're able to do that. Can't wait to hear how it went. I am sure once you get up there that you'll be able to highlight what's necessary and be done in time.
I am certain that your speech will be compelling (and that you will look absolutely terrific)!
Please post an update on the speech and the questions.
You'll do great, MichaelAnn!!!
I can't imagine anyone else in your class being more qualified to do this presentation. And I can't wait to hear how it went!!!
Good luck...but you won't need it!!!

Did the before/after pictures totally "wow" them?
Definitely. I got a couple gasps, one loud "holy cow" and some applause!
I had told a few of them in the hallway before class that I had lost 70lbs on it and they really couldn't imagine it - they said they couldn't possibly visualize me as being that overweight since they've only known me like this. So it was interesting to see their reactions!
