I have lost 5 pounds!  I am sure not since starting SBD, because I only started last Wednesday in earnest, but since my pre-surgery visit on Feb 20th.  I stepped on the scale and the nurse said "you've lost 5 pounds!"  I told her I started SBD, and I also told the surgeon, who said he has also followed this WOE and that it was a "good plan."

No more restrictions on anything, including exercise, so gonna look into hitting the Y, since it is paid for through my dh's work and I might as well take advantage!  PLUS I do not have the excuse of being stuck home with my kids because if I can leave them at home for an hour to run an errand during the day I can certainly go work out!

Hi Melanie, congrats on the weight loss!

I don't know the ages of your kids, but the Y likely has childcare.

YAY! Great news all the way around!

The Y for free? NICE! I loved my YMCA...but didn't love the payment and stopped going often enough to justify. But man, it was fantastic. Brand spankin' new. The hot tub was awesome! Oh, and ellipticals...those were ok too. ;)
