What kind of scale do you have and do you like it?  we have a doctor's scale and it's not currently weighing correctly. I am thinking a digital might help me so that I could get more precise. what do you think?

I have a very simple digital scale. It's called "Thinner" from Bed, Bath & Beyond. It's about $30 and has always been very accurate.
I know that a lot of members use scales with lots of bells & whistles telling you body fat percentage, etc. But, I've never researched to find out how accurate they are.

The trainer I work with measured her body fat scale against the traditional method of using calipers.

One note about digital scales that really irks me... I can weigh myself in one spot of the floor and get one reading, the move it over 2 feet and get another reading. I don't know if my is just super picky about floor being perfectly level (even though I have hard wood floors) or what. So I'm always nervous that the measurement might not be accurate.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I have the same problem with my regular old scale. I personally think they all do that and they keep changing everytime you step on it.
