I got a scale today!!!

A healtho-meter digital scale that will track and graph the weight loss of two people.

I opened the package up right there in the store, took my shoes off and stepped on it to make sure it wasn't going to scare me.

It didn't. ;-) So I bought it.

The tracking feature can't really be turned off so I am hoping that keeps me to weighing only in the morning b/c otherwise it's going to not graph or percentage right with all the fluctuations!

I have officially joined the naked morning weighers!!! Yea!

Has a large object been dropped on your head or something?

Probably. I do at least twice. It doesn't bother me when it's a lb higher than in the morning. It's just a 'thing' I guess.

"I am taking pills and having injections" hopefully I'll get better... ;)

I did that for awhile when I was actively losing - not really because I thought it was effective, but because I was just fascinated with seeing the fluctuations. And I think it really helped me - it desensitized me to seeing 1lb up, 1lb down, etc. Made me understand what is a REAL loss or gain vs. water, food, etc. It allowed me a lot of perspective because I knew that I didn't really lose 1lb of fat if I was 1lb down after a workout - it was just sweat. Or if I was up 1lb after eating lunch I knew it was weighing my turkey sandwich and salad. Led to a lot less panic in seeing a morning fluctuation on the scale too - it made each individual pound not matter as much and emphasized the idea that its the TREND that counts.

I got mine at Walmart - and it's a very very very agreeable scale!!! lol

I thought it might be weighing "lite" but Abigail stepped on it and was an even 37 lbs and at the doc's office she was down to 35.4 when she was sick last week so maybe not!!!!

Apparently, habiutual weighing is not a problem - there's no way I want to step on that scale and see anything more than the 202.0 is showed this morning - I've not been this close to 200 in about 8 years.

I was about 215 when Sean met me - and a size 14 (like I am now - though I am post-2-babies shaped differently, haha much bigger boobies! lol) and it went up from then with pregnancies and then PPD and then overeating pigginess.

Thanks Jennie!!!

I started watching cheese and nuts about 3 weeks ago and it's paying off. That and getting my butt in gear for some exercise and drinking all the water I can stand!!!
