If you missed the show and didn't DVR it, here's the recap:
The Biggest Loser Recap: The Final Four
Ali, Kelly, Mark, and Roger returned from Australia this week, and it was their very last chance to lose weight on Campus. How did they fare without Bob and me there to train them, and who took the last fall below the yellow line? Here's how the final week unfolded.
Meal Makeovers: When the players returned to Campus, Alison said she had a surprise for them. Though that's usually not a good thing, this time it was: Celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito was back to show them how to make healthier versions of the heart-attack-on-a-plate meals they used to crave. Using lighter ingredients and healthier cooking techniques, Rocco showed the players how to trim hundreds of calories off the original dishes — and everyone agreed that the results were even better than their former faves.
Carrying That Weight: For the last challenge of the season, the players met Alison on the beach, where a large crate awaited them. Alison explained that the crate contained the players' biggest enemy...and then the crate fell open to reveal four fat suits. Each player's suit was loaded with the weight he or she had lost so far — so when they put them on, they were literally stepping back into their old bodies. With the fat suits on, they had to run to the other end of the beach, where they each got to shed the suit and pick up a large flag. The players then had to race to the top of a hill, where the first person to plant his or her flag would win $10,000 and the new Biggest Loser meal delivery service. As the first to finish, Mark took the prize...but all the players triumphantly planted their flags and vowed they would never carry that weight again.
Last-Chance Weigh-In: When Mark and Roger posted HUGE losses at the weigh-in — 12 pounds and 15 pounds, respectively — I thought for sure my girls were in trouble. But like the fighters they are, they stepped on that scale and pushed the boys right below the yellow line. Ali went from 146 to 135 for an 11-pound loss, and Kelly dropped 13 pounds to go from 191 to 178. AMAZING! Some incredible milestones were met, too — Roger beat Neil's record from last season for most weight lost on Campus, and Ali beat the record for weight lost by a woman on Campus. With their biggest threat, Roger, FINALLY below the yellow line, I thought for sure that one of my girls had the title of Biggest Loser all sewn up — until Alison announced that...
America Will Decide: Alison really knocked the wind out of us with this one. After the weigh-in, she told us that Ali and Kelly weren't going to choose the third finalist after all — instead, America was going to vote. So whatever you're doing right now, I need you to stop, go to the NBC site, and cast your vote. If you've been DYING to see the first female Biggest Loser, get out the vote and help the girls on their path to victory! Voting is open until Thursday night at 10 p.m. Eastern Time, and each e-mail address can vote up to 100 times — so you have ample opportunity to make your voices heard. Tell NBC which player YOU think deserves his shot at the title!
Next week, the final three players come back for the LIVE finale. The third finalist that YOU chose will be revealed within the first five minutes of the show, so be sure to tune in on time!
Last night was the first time I have watched it!
I was wondering the same thing! I've watched the entire season, and they didn't mention doing anything differently. If I had to guess, I'd say they really limited grains (maybe 1-2 per day, and only in the morning), same with fruits, tons of raw veggies, lean meats only such as chicken, no cheese or nuts or sugar, very low sodium foods, and tons of water. Plus, they workout for 4-6 hours a day. I can't imagine they went over 1200-1500 calories a day either.
But I would just LOVE to see their food and exercise journals. I want to believe that they lost that much in a healthy way, but it just seems impossible, especially for Ali because she is so small!
I was just talking to DH about what else could be different from last week's Biggest Loser to this week. He said they obviously didn't calibrate the scales between Australia and the here. Makes perfect sense to me. They obviously didn't take the scale with them to Australia...it looked very different.
So I'm figuring it was a pretty normal week, with the exception of not having both trainers there to help them with their workouts.

That's a really good point!!!
Alisa
The big double-digit weight loss for everybody:
I was really surprised, too.
Thanks for posting the link. I was interested in voting but not interested enough to figure out where to go to vote. The two ladies are in, and that's what really mattered to me.
Does anyone else think the huge weight losses were due to the scale in Australia being heavier?
They weigh once a week, V. I think the huge loss last week was due to using different scales. 2 weeks ago, they were at the Biggest Loser camp in Australia. This past week, they were back here in the US. Different scales. Also, they workout 4 to 6 hours every day, as far as I can tell. I know there is no way I could do that.
I agree on Ali. I'm wondering just how much more she can lose and is it healthy for her to lose any more???
