I've just started phase 2 and am hosting a playgroup for moms and our 3 year olds tomorrow. People always make cookies or muffins for these playgroups, but I'd like make a snack I can eat! I plan to have veggies and dip, PB&Js for the kids, but need something else snackish for the moms. Any suggestions?

Since you are in phase 2 you have a lot of options. You can still do muffins, or things like banana bread. I don't know if our playgroup is in the morning(our were always around "brunch" time 10-11am-ish) You could do a plate of mini-whole wheat bagels with different spreads, something like baked oatmeal, fruit with yogurt dip, quiche cups. If its more lunch time you could do veggies/dip, pasta salad (whole wheat pasta, lots of veggies, vinaigrette dressing), finger sandwiches on whole wheat, hummus, deviled eggs, cheese and cracker plate, etc.
