I have been following South Beach for three weeks now and I haven't lost any weight. I don't really understand because I have been eating so healthy. I started at phase two because I had been previously eating healthy following weight watchers. The first two weeks I probably only worked out two or three days....but last week I worked out for an hour four days out of the week and was very active around the house the other days. I must be eating too much....idk....I feel like I have been doing really good though. I also have been measuring myself and I haven't lost any inches. Here is a typical day of what I usually eat.
Breakfast:
2 scrambled eggs (no oil only cooking spray)
sauteed bell pepper and onion
2 oz diced ham or 2 oz Canadian bacon
-or-
1 cup Kashi cereal w/1 cup skim milk
Snack:
part-skim mozzarella stick
15 mixed nuts no salt added
Lunch:
South Beach boxed wraps
Orange
Snack:
apple
-or-
15 All Bran Crackers (not sure if 100% legal)
1 wedge laughing cow cheese
Dinner:
Low sugar pasta sauce 1/2 cup
spaghetti squash 1/2 cup
ground turkey 3oz
whole wheat bread w/half tablespoon reduced I Can't Believe its Not Butter
-or-
2 slices home-made pizza (whole wheat dough, tomato sauce, part-skim mozzarella cheese, turkey pepperoni)
Mixed salad (lettuce, tomatoes, boiled egg, part skim mozzarella cheese, 2 tbsp south beach ranch)
Snack:
Breyers Reduced Fat Sugar Free Ice Cream Bar (legal ???)
-or-
1 homemade cinnamon roll (home-made whole wheat dough, I can't believe its not butter reduced, splenda brown sugar, cinnamon) {small}

Is there anything in my diet that could be keeping me from losing weight? I do try to have two cups of ff milk and a glass of V8 everyday. I haven't added the calories up yet...but I didn't think I was eating too much...

Hi -- I don't think you're eating too much, so don't worry about that.
Two big things stick out for me.

Hi Summer,
I agree with the advice you already got.
Thank you everyone for all your reply's.
If you check the ingredient list on your ICBINB spread you'll find that hydrogenated oil is listed in the ingredients.
Summer,
That particular ICBINB spread is actually legal to use on SBD, because the nutritional panel shows "0g trans fat".
Hi Summer!!!
Grain vs veggie is huge for me. I was "eyeballing" it and not really paying attention and eating very little veggies and about 7 grain servings a day thinking it was about 3. Yikes!!!
Now that I've got that reversed - I've dropped another 7 lbs in the last two weeks - after spending 2 weeks prior to the bouncing up and down in weight while I got it all readjjusted!
What did you do to lose the 10# shown in your ticker?
