Confession:  I usually am prepared when I go grocery shopping as it takes me all morning, but today I forgot my snack and my water(BOO!)...I grabbed what was available( a balance bar...not the worst choice...but not sbd okay) and a handful of potato chips. The chips were sooo good...I have been craving salty crunchy lately and pickles, homemade pita/bagel chips, pretzals, and crackers don't do it for me...I'm wondering if i make homemade sweet potato chips and salt them...if that would be a good substitution. Has anyone made sweet potato chips before? I am needing suggestions if anyone has any.

I have Stop and Shop brand macadamia nuts that are very salty.

I was going to suggest Triscuits, and I find the Rosemary and Olive Oil (or whatever it's called) variety particularly tasty.

I always go for the All Bran Garlic & Herb when I'm looking for salty/crunch -- they really do the trick.

yup, I'm here -- been off the Beach and off the board for a bit, just let the craziness of life overwhelm my personal health as a priority (like every other woman/mom I know, LOL!). Am fighting hard to regain my level of fitness I had at the end of the fall before my winter doldrums hit. I'll get there, but it's definitely an uphill battle. Glad you guys are still in it with me! :-)
