I was very lucky tonight.  This was the first time in many years where I didn't host the sedar.  Instead, I went to a friend's home for Passover Sedar.  She was so supportive and she actually made a point of telling me that I was not to not feel guilty and feel like I have to eat anything I shouldn't.  She even made a tray of grilled vegetables for me.

Thanks! I survived my scaled down seder. Rather than having 20 people, as originally planned, my 2 week battle with broncitis forced me to limit the evening to just to immediate family (6 people total) and rely on gourmet takeout instead of my usual 2 day seder cook-a-thon. But a wonderful time was had by all and it was a good reminder that it is possible to entertain without making myself completely crazy.

Sometimes for passover I just make chicken soup and matza balls. passover is a memory for me of all the relatives at grandma's house. i was the oldest of many cousins. It was such fun but you had to wait so long to eat while the reading in Hebrew went on. I would sit on my uncle's lap and he would teach me the Hebrew songs. Leila
