Weekend went pretty good exercise wise. Missed the gym on Saturday because we had to spend 6hrs in line to apply for passports - what a total pain in the you-know-what (this was our 3rd try - the other times we didn't even get there early enough to get on the list for that day!)
But we made up for it - Saturday night we went and played tennis, Sunday morning the whole family went to the high school and we jogged around the track (my 7yr old LOVES to run and can out run both me and dh! My future track star!) Then Sunday afternoon we went for a bike ride, and last night I made dh do abs, squats, push-ups, etc. with me. All in all I think I am more sore today than I am after the gym!
Goal this week is to make it to the gym 5 days instead of 4, up my intensity a bit on the cardio, and try 3 new/different exercises.
Was a good weekend, went to Costco to stock up on lots of veggies, lean meat (DH Bart chose a beef tenderloin he said he would cut into steaks!), fish and chicken.
While I was there I bought a pair of Gloria VanDerbilt capris, a pair of linen trousers, and a pair of capri jeans...ALL A COMPLETE SIZE SMALLER! YIPEE!!!!
Sunday was a bit difficult, as we were rushing to get ready for church, so I hurried up and fixed breakfast before we could grab junk! Not that there is much junk in the house...purged all that stuff because I DO know my limitations! LOL!
Managed to go to Curves 5 times last week...have to make the push and go in the morning because if I wait till the afternoon I seem to be much more likely to talk myself out of it.
So...today...I am down 1 1/2 pounds from last week. Am I happy..You BET!
Had a great weekend, no work (a first for quite a long time) and just play. I did exercise and I did order my Bruschetta burger at Applebee's without the focaccia bread, but I also did eat my fries, which is a big no-no and is why I'm struggling these days. Gotta get the carb monster off my back... but I hit Curves this morning and I've got a tennis match tonight, so I'm doing good on the exercise bit. Hope you had a terrific weekend! :-)
I did very well, when the cookies came out at work, I brought them in another room so I couldn't smell them. I brought the best taboule in case I needed it with some sort of craving. I really seem to want to get off the eating all night roll. I sometimes eat when I am not hungry, but I keep it in the plan. It's an emotional eat but it is not over eating and in the plan. I had dinner with my grandkids after work Saturday, but did not join them going for ice cream. Leila

My weekend was a struggle with food.
My one weakness this weekend was a McDonalds (I know, I know) plain kids cheese burger.
