Way to cut short my shopping trip

also known as WTH was I thinking. I just needed a few things from the store. With EVERYTHING going up so much , I've been looking for ways to cut back on most things. So I decided, in my infinite wisdom, to ride Andrew (4) up to the store in my bike trailer. It's 1.5 miles one way, I only needed 4 things. Off we go. Which was all good, but now that we're home, I'm ready to pass out!!!
And, there were a few GREAT prices on things (way cheaper than my regular grocery) which I'll have to note for my next big shopping day. They had the 10 pack mini-bags of OR SmartPop for $2.78. ON SALE at Kroger it's $4.99...regular price almost $6. On the downside, a lot of the things I usually get on my monthly stop there (for things that are cheaper there than the regular store...like Classico pasta sauce, WW pasta, etc) were $0.30 more per item. That's up 15% in the last month. Sigh.
I'd have bought a few extras, but I wasn't sure I'd make it home with much more weight in the trailer!
At least I got my exercise in today.

I love this story!
