Well, I *did* get my exercise in, which is good, but still not making the best food choices -- ease of preparation is definitely winning out over health right now. DH and I split an Oriental Chicken Salad and Appetizer Sampler from Applebee's Carside last night as we watched Desperate Housewives. My scale is SO not happy with me right now. I'm getting ready to go to Curves, I've had my Kashi GoLean w/ strawberries this morning. I'm trying to make the right choices each step of my day, rather than focus on the nebulous "lose weight" or "get to 135". I read an article in Men's Health last week that said researchers found people had more success in focusing on specific tasks rather than long term goals, and I definitely would agree based on personal experience. So I'm trying to take it one day (heck, one hour) at a time.
