Do you switch between strategies?

I've noticed that I've developed at least a couple of distinctly different approaches or strategies for weight loss/fitness/food, and I switch between them to keep my momentum going. I get bored or weary with one constant way 24/7.
Mainly, here's what I do: During the weekdays, I count everything very stringently. I do the usual monitoring of making sure I've gotten the right portions of veggies, fruits, dairy, etc. I also count calories and I log everything, food and exercise, every day on My Daily Plate. This website helps me track my precise amount of sodium consumed, ratio of protien/carbs/fats, and so many other things. With exercise, I have to fit it in at very precise times and almost always have to stop sooner than I'd have liked to, due to weekday time constraints.
On the weekends, I've switched to old-school SBD, doing it the way the original book was written - not keeping track of portions, just "making the best choices" and "eating until satisfied". It's much more relaxed. My primary focus on weekends is getting as much exercise in as I possibly can, which has been a lot of fun for me because I really challenge myself. I go for lots of variety and try to do as much as I can outdoors. This has been fun for me! I have the time on the weekends to allow myself the luxury of working out for as long as my body can handle it.
Does anyone else have a "split personality" with their methods of SBD & fitness?

I am somewhat similar and I actually think it's good for our bodies to mix things up.
For me, it's not a lack of control on the weekends and I don't eat worse.
Also....this question isn't just about weekdays vs. weekends.
I don't think so.

What changes for me is my schedule.
