what do you *splurge* on?

I've been enjoying Karen's thread on being cheap --- but I bet most of us are cheap about some things and spendy on others!
What do you splurge on?

As I said in my other post, I splurge on produce.

LOL! Can you tell I hate telltale roots? Ah, vanity...
We spend way too much on babysitters, but DH and I value our 'date nights' and it's usually worth every penny.
We splurge on entertainment, I guess you could say. DH & I really enjoy going to concerts and shows and that usually involves some travel. We enjoy the driving/flying and we usually go to a dozen or more shows a year. We also have been known to pay a premium price for good seats...guess I'm spoiled...LOL!!!
Shoes are another passion of mine. I used to buy lots of cheap shoes, but as I get older, my feet are just not happy with cheap shoes anymore. I still buy lots of shoes now, but now I buy for comfort...and unfortunately, that's usually not cheap!!!
I'm kinda looking forward to buying some really nice clothes once I get to my goal weight. For now, I'm buying mostly cheap stuff. I just can't see paying a lot for clothes that I'll only be wearing for a few months.

Well, I splurge on:
Haircuts and haircare products - In my case, especially since I decided to grow out my hair, I spend a bit every 6 to 8 weeks to get my hair trimmed and deep condition. And that doubles if I'm visiting my family in NYC. Also, everyone in my household has shoulder to longer hair so I end up buying everyones haircare products. DD and I have the highest bill.
Books - I LOVE to read. I have always LOVED books. Please note the emphasis. But lately, Amazon.com has been my book store and I love it. No buying full price. ;)
Lingerie and socks - I don't know why, but I tend to buy a lot of bras and socks. DH says its like an addiction. I say, it just in case. LOL.
Lotions and Body wash - Another addiction. I have always been the kind of girl that like to smell pretty, even when I'm roughing it up with the boys. Everyone know that they can never go wrong by getting me a gift that has scented lotion or body wash.
Cellphones - Don't even ask. Right now, DH and I have iPhones.
And lately, body jewelry (Nose pins mostly) and pedicures. LOL.
But the truth be told, DH spoils me also. He tends to tell me, "If you want it, get it.", but then he's tight money wise with himself. I don't know.
I'm weird.

We haven't been splurging on a lot lately -- usually our vacations are our splurges.
But, I will say that we are spending more on fresh produce & fruits.
Cathy,
I have a shoe question for you.
V, I have the daily-downtown-sidewalk-shoe-destruction issue, too.
Truthfully right after Jimmy Choo's I think Loboutins are very impractical unless you're splurging for a very, very special event.
Everything: organic, farm grown meat, organic eggs, shalimar, shoes last me forever becuase I buy expensive ones as I am basically hard on shoes. I'd rather have less but good quality. I have an inexpensive bedroom set, black, looks a little oriental, I like the way it looks so I don't care. I splurge on microdermabrasions. I cut back on everything else!!!!!
I really have all I need. I love to give things away. I use the library so I don't buy as many books.
I still put money away to invest. I do love pampering myself and having my place look like my personality.
