HI,
I have a question about how much and what to eat when I work out twice a day. I run in the mornings 4 days a week and that is fine. I have recently joined a tennis league and we play 2x a week. So now my Tuesday/Thursdays are 45 min spin class in the morning and 2 hours of doubles tennis in the evening..followed by 30-40 mins running the very next morning. I am just curious if I should eat a little more for energy sake. I think the extra exercise and eating the same could be a bad combo. Plus I have a hard time eating dinner when I get home from tennis since it is at least 830 at night and I go to bed at 930 to get up at 5 and run. I am still trying to figure all this out but if anyone has suggestions on 2-a-day workouts and eating that would be great. I am on phase 2 and usually have 2-3 grains a day and 1-2 fruits. TIA.

Fruits on P2 are 2-3 per day, and they make an excellent pre-workout or post-workout snack, too.

Thanks for the notes. I should try to increase my fruit. I got some at the store when I was there at lunch. I try to eat a little something before tennis in the evenings but the other night I was starving during tennis and I had eaten something before hand. Is it bad to eat my dinner meal at 8:30 a night? I don't eat a TON for dinner.. just some meat or something and a cup or two of veggies.
Sometimes in the mornings I feel a little weak but I don't like to eat and then start to run. I don't usually have time for food to settle in the mornings before running. Sometimes I feel more hungry but I don't want to over eat.
