Creamsicle

I think I made a mistake.

While at the grocery store this week I saw NSA Creamsicles...which are one of my faves. I remembered reading a few journals where people ate them, and snatched up a box.

Imagine my surprise this afternoon when I realized that I had not picked up a box of NSA Creamsicles, but a box of SUGAR FREE Creamsicles.

How much did I mess up?

Both No Sugar Added and Sugar Free are legal on South Beach.

Oh good...by the time I realized my mistake I'd already eaten 4 of them!

I think I figured out how I messed up, I always reach back and get the 2nd or 3rd of an item. Most likely what happened was simple - someone put the NSA in front of the SF and I didn't realize it.

Same thing happened with shredded cheese...ugh.

I have to remember to look at everything I buy, not just the one I check the nutrition on.

Well, just make sure that 4 of them isn't over the sweet treat limit.

Nope...the 4 were over a few days, and even if they had been on the same day they are only 20 calories - not over but high.

It's not just the frozen or dairy products that I do that with either. I do that with EVERYTHING!

I do it with everything too, but I know it started with milk; I always heard that the freshest milk was in the back.

I do it too -- started a number of years ago when I saw the grocery staff putting items back that people either didn't want at the register, or a cart had been left.

Who knows how long those items sat out unrefrigerated, and they went right in the front!

You are right about the freshest milk being in the back. They rotate their stock (everything actually) constantly and put the freshest
