Okay,
I have read all the threads here about plateaus ...I even started some of them, but I am still in need of help.
I have varied exercize types, changed up my times of day(a little), varied what I'm eating...all that I know I should do. I lost 35 # before xmas on the first leg of this journey and have been stalled since xmas. currently my weight is fluctuating up and down the same 3 or 4 # for awhile now. I have gotten so bummed that I have stopped journalingf here on the board...I just journal on my own.
Currently, the past 4 days or so, I have gone to interval training--walking with intervals of jogging and jumping jacks along with my regular exercize routine. I am hoping to break through soon with this interval training. My daily calories are usually around 1400 which my doctor said is okay for me...what do you guys think?
would going bk to phase 1 "shake things up" for me? maybe give me a jump start? or should I take my calories down a little more ? or should I give the interval training awhile to work it's magic on me? Please advise. Currently, I am still eating the South Beach way but quickly becoming frustrated....my nsister suggested eating differently than I do(i.e maybe southbeach isn't working for me anymore...but I do not believe that...I feel better and do believe I'm healthier even though my weight is not changing).
I did still lose an inch around my middle over the past month...and I know you can gain weight or stay the same when you build muscle but, for God's sake...a 4 month, going on 5 month stall seems too long to me....
how do I keep going when I am so down? any words of wisdom would be appreciated.....for the life of me, I truly don't know what to do next or where to go from here.

I'm right there with you!
Hi Shannon,
I agree that going back to phase 1 really isn't an option.
