Here's an idea I came up with this week that should be a great time-saver when we want to have a quick and easy grilled dinner.


I like to stock up on london broil and boneless chicken breast when they are on sale. This week they were and I decided to cut them up into 1 inch cubes. I filled several quart-sized ziplocs with steak or chicken and put them in the freezer.


For a quick dinner, I will add some marinade or salad dressing to the ziploc while they defrost in the freezer. Then, I'll put them on skewers with fresh veggies for quick kebabs. One bag is enough for a meal for my family, and if I have guests I can use steak and chicken and how ever many bags I think I'll need for the group!


I'm so smart............lol!

Ooh great idea! I buy chicken breasts in bulk and freeze them in 2-breast packets (it's just me and DH) to defrost when we need them. Good idea about cutting cubes for quick kabobs!
