I saw a commercial for those pizzas a few days ago, but I didn't want to get my hopes up...I was afraid they wouldn't actually be 100% Whole Wheat. I wonder if the pizza is actually legal?

I thought about that later...but still, I wonder about the sauce and cheese? I'm sure it's a better option than regular pizza, but who knows.
I wonder if Papa John's would get offended if someone were to call them and ask them if they used reduced fat cheese, no sugar added sauce, and the grams/fiber of the crust?

Obviously any food you make at home and have full control over the ingredients, is better than take-out. I am just happy to see a major chain seeing some value in offering whole wheat! Now it will be interesting to see how well it does and if it is around for any length of time!
I would be willing to try this sometime. At least this is a chain we have down here in the South. And anything we can do to help promote (make successful) a healthier option at a restaurant chain down here, I'm willing to do. Not that I would eat it all the time. I make pizza very seldom. I find that every time I do make it, I inevitably go over on grains.

Actually, I was just checking some of the nutritional info for the whole wheat pizza's...wow. ONE SLICE is over 100 grams and 4-6 grams of fiber!
Definitely not the best choice out there!

The problem is, you can't really go by that.
I saw that commercial too and told DH about it!
