I leave for Vegas next week and although it is for work and my DH will not be with me, it is always a fun time and I'm still looking forward to it! We head to Cape May in July for a week with the IL's which is always a good time. Also trying to fit in a trip to Montreal to see our friends there- (it has been forever since I have been there) and in August we head to Saratoga to stay with friends and maybe see the Traver's Stakes.
Dana - I'll give you a full report when we get back! We'd never really given Jamaica much thought before, but now that we live in Houston, TX, its just a relatively short (3hrs) and cheap flight. It was either Mexico or Jamaica for somewhere close, affordable and tropical, and we've both done Mexico in high school, so we wanted to do something different. Plus I loved the idea of an adult-only, all inclusive type resort - and there are SO many in Jamaica, in all kinds of price ranges.
Anyhow - I'm sure I will have lots of pics when we get back!
I hope they do okay on the plane - they've made that flight 3 times round-trip with us, so they've flown before, just not without an adult sitting between them! They fight pretty much non-stop, man, those poor flight attendants!
Thankfully no booth for me, just attending the show! I would love to say hi too- will you be lunching on your own, or is all your free time with your hubby? :-)
Dana, we don't have to cancel our plans for the Dell's. They are pretty much up and running after the flood. There will be some things that won't be the same but that doesn't change our plans as to what we wanted to do while there. The resort where we are staying (it has both in door and out door water parks) is on the edge of the Dell's
It would be great to get away to the upper peninsula for a week at my parents' cottage on the lake (Superior) but it's probably not in the budget this year.
DS2 is going to music camp at Blue Lake, courtesy of a partial scholarship and his own savings.

Megan and I are flying to Bermuda the end of July to spend a week with my sister and her family (just one niece).
As for a "family vacation" nothing planned as the kids are too busy with sports.
We just got back from a week at the beach in Florida.
