not losing weight on SB

I am on day 11 of the diet and have only lost 3 pounds; after the first 2 days, I had actually gained a pound, then starting losing again. Yessterday I "slipped" and had a 1/2 of a whole wheat pita bread with a small amount of peanut butter with the kids....today, I got on the scale and had gained a pound. I am losing motivation!!! I am being very strict with myself on the diet and it's not that hard for me, but this 2-3 pounds of weight for what I've been eating is ridiculous! Please give me any ideas or thoughts anyone might have about this topic.
Much Appreciated :)

Hi,
It's hard for us to help without knowing what you're eating.
I did eat fairly healthy before, but was also into carbs and fruit. I'm 5'7 and started at a weight of 188; now 185. I want to lose about 30 pounds...I've been around 145-150 and was perfectly fine at that weight.
As far as what I'm eating....Today began with 2 scrambled eggs and 2 pieces of Canadian
As hard as it is, you can't compare your success to others.
Since you have lost 3 pounds, it is working.
You are right....the yogurt is vanilla, not plain.
The peanut butter is Skippy Natural.
And yes, I have skim milk in my 1 cup of coffee in the morning and often have either yogurt, cheese cubes, mozzarella sprinkled on my veges at dinner, etc. Plus I put a splash of milk in my eggs.
Thanks for the feedback; I guess it is just going to take some time...it's just sometimes frustrating!
Skippy natural has sugar added.
got it.....thanks for your help.....I'll try those things.
I'm new to the SBD and still in phase 1 as well. Looking at your sample menu I am wondering if you may not be eating enough. I would check to see if your daily menu adds up to enough calories. I know we don't count calories but it seems like too few calories could be as harmful as too many. Also are you meeting the water requirements? Sometimes that helps jumpstart things.
Stick with it and see what happens by the end of Phase 1.
