Just curious what, if anything, anyone knows about calorie cycling as a weight loss method.  It's also known as calorie shifting, or  the zig-zag diet.

It assumes a good diet, so I'm NOT looking for a replacement to SB -- there isn't one.  I'd be applying it's principles while following the SB plan.

Thanks!

(I can't believe I left out the word 'not' originally!)

I don't know if it is the same thing, but this past season on the biggest loser, they mentioned that the contestants are able to eat anything they want the day after the weigh in.

Hi Nancy,

Calorie cycling works a lot like exercise cycling.
