I have done Weight Watchers on and off for years and really enjoyed it. I have lost big amounts of weight every time but never kept it off. When I first started considering doing SBD, I went to the WW board and read posts about WW and SB. The main comments I saw was that SB teaches you how to eat the right foods. On WW they tell you to eat in a healthy way as well, but they also tell you that you can use your points anyway you want. I know what I did was find things like healthier chips (baked instead of regular, 100 calorie paks )etc.... Still I was not eating very well with WW.
Well today at the gym I listened to two ladies talking about the kinds of foods they were eating. Both are doing WW. They were talking about pineapple right side up cake, ice creams etc... all things that SB tells us are not good for us.
I sat and listened to them and thought, "Do you realize you are still eating junk, high sugar, floury foods." I am soooo glad I started SBD because I was right there with those ladies not too long ago. Its amazing how much better I feel now that I am not eating 100 calorie pak foods, baked chips, low fat ice cream etc... I always thought WW was such a great plan, but I think SBD is MUCH better and healthier then WW.
I would never consider anymore eating the types of foods these ladies were talking about. Just thought it was interesting to listen to them talk about WW and all these less then healthy foods. Sure seems a contradiction to me.

Erin,
Before dieting I would have thought the same thing as you about it being a contridiction.
