I Have A Cold....

And when I get sick, I'm a big baby.
That aside, what should I be eating/drinking now that I'm on SB? My old way would have been to have some chicken soup, orange juice, and saltines.
I *think* I remember reading that when you are sick you should eat what you can, but not force yourself to get everything in if you truly can't? I did do a search but I wasn't very successful.
Dinner tonight was a couple of (probably not legal due to low fiber) brown rice cakes smeared with natural peanut butter, a bunch of grapes (about 15 give or take), and SF pudding cup. And a bottle of water with a Vita Splash Multi-Vitamin pack mixed in. And except for the pudding, I didn't want any of it.
So any advice/recommendations? Whenever I get sick my cheese cravings go sky high, I literally dream about orange juice (which I HATE any other time), and can barely handle a bottle of plain water for the whole day (normally, I chug about 4-5 plain waters a day - today I had less than half a bottle of plain water and on the weekends when I'm home, I can EASILY go through a gallon of plain water).

Aw, I am so sorry you are sick! I am a big baby too!
You are right; do the best you can!
Try to stick to SBD - as you know
Crystal Light Sunrise Orange. Don't worry about some extra cheese for a couple days. If you can't get in all your veggies - no big deal, it won't affect your loss.
Just stick to the SBD friendly foods that sound good. You can do a great chicken soup with some All Bran crackers or triscuits.
In 3.5 years I have probably had about 10 colds, influenza once (hospitalized), 2 sinus infections and walking pneumonia. You just learn to deal with it - I'm sure I will be sick literally 100's more times in the next 50 years. Just stick to the foods lists, don't worry about specific quantities. Find substitutes for what you are craving.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I did all day. I didn't worry to much about getting in the required stuff, in fact, I know I didn't and even if I really wanted to, I don't think I could have.
Surprisingly I really didn't want cheese, what I wanted was pudding.
I definitely went over on the sweet treats, but it was mostly due to Crystal Light and Tide Me Overs...the idea of eating was way to much for me until mid-afternoon. I had some not 100% legal chicken/vegetable soup followed by some SF Pudding...more of the same for dinner.
2 puddings, 3 Tide Me Overs, and 4 Crystal Lights - a whopping 250 STC.
I should be back to normal, or at least back to relatively normal eating tomorrow. Hopefully, back completely by Wednesday or Thursday. As far as colds go, this is definitely not one of the worst.
-Boston Run to Remember Half Marathon, 5/29/11 (2:35:11, no training!)
-Corporate Run, 3.5 miles 6/2/11 (36:38, 4 days after running the half!)
-BAA 10k, 6/26/11 (1:04:52, wanted to be under an hour...)
-Tavern to Tavern
Glad to hear you're starting to feel better, and also that you aren't being hard on yourself.
The best way to do SB is to deal with it in a realistically.
As for the extra STC's I always look at how things average out over time.
