Did your phase 1 really reduce your cravings? I have cheated continuously throughout phase 1 but lost 8 lbs the first week. I'm on day 10 right now of phase 1. Do you think I should start phase 1 again? I really don't crave anything, I spend money on food/pop because I have cash. The solution is not to carry any cash, check book, credit/debit card and I'm fine. I have to eat at home so I stick with the plan. Suggestions/comments would be appreciated.

No, you don't need to start P1 again.
Please don't re-start Phase 1; continue on to phase 2 as planned.
Hi,
Wanted to pop in and congratulate you on the 8 pounds gone.
Phase 1 doesn't cure us of "mental" or behavioral issues like habits, comfort eating, etc. What you have is a behavioral habit, you need to replace or change that behavior. Phase 1 has nothing to do with that, it isn't a miracle cure. We still have to control our choices, so doing phase 1 again is not going to help.
Is it possible to just buy something SBD friendly? You said pop - why not just get diet? Instead of candy, get some peanuts or sunflower seeds. Bring snacks with you every where you go so you won't be as tempted. Plan to have your favorite SBD-friendly treat - maybe a SB peanut butter cup, a smoothie, a skinny latte from Starbucks, etc. as a reward if you make it through being out without stopping for candy.
