I am really excited for this weekend. Not cause of any big plans just to have 3 days off work and SO will actually be in town to enjoy them all with me!
Let's see...nothing really going on during the day tomorrow. Tomorrow night DH and I are going out for our anniversary. Probably just dinner and a movie.
Sunday I need to make a cake for a friends' grandma (I already made the frosting, and I may make the cake Saturday and assemble it Sunday). I also need to go downtown and pick up my race packet for Monday's 5K, and get the kids signed up for the kids' run. Sunday afternoon/evening we're going to a BBQ. Probably won't stay late b/c of the early run on Monday.
Monday morning at 8:00 I'm running a 5K, and right after that is the kids' run. I'll do the 1/4 mile with DD, while DH does the shorter one with DS. After that we'll probably hang out downtown for awhile and enjoy the post-race festivities (free massage!!)
I have some homework to do, if the weather is good we will try to take the kids to the pool one last time before it closes up for the winter. Dh and I will probably try and go out Saturday night - probably dinner and then hit the wine bar.
We'll also be watching Gustav closely. There's still a good chance it could shift closer to us by next week. If its close enough that call for evacuations in Galveston, we have friend's of dh's family that he said may want to come to our house since they are in an evacuation zone but we are pretty far inland. That may mean a few house guests, plus pets. So if it looks like a possibility I will be madly cleaning out the guestroom! Dh thinks its funny because I am more worried about the prospect of house guests than I am about the hurricane!
We don't have a lot of plans, which I like.
Not much planned here either.
To be honest, I completely forgot that it was Labor Day weekend!?!?
We actually do have plans for this holiday, and they don't include going to my in-laws!
We were offered 4 tix to the Detroit Tigers baseball game Sunday afternoon.
Enjoy your time off, Nancy!
My main plan for theekend is to have some quality time with DH, as he's been gone all week and is leaving again next week for a 2 week trip.

We don't have any big weekend plans.
We will be enjoying a nice leisurely long weekend, without any scheduled plans!
