I've been watching the projected path of Hanna up the East Coast.
As I know we have quite a few members along that path, I'm curious how serious it's expected to be.
I saw on CNN where the hotel staff of places along Myrtle Beach were taking down table umbrellas, and getting the tables and deck chairs off the decks and (I'm assuming) into storage. Have any of you started to *batton (sp?) down the hatches* as it were?
Living in MI all we get are the after-effects of these storms -- right now we're getting the cloudy remnants of Gustav. We had the rain yesterday, but even that wasn't as bad nor as wide spread as some of our regular thunderstorms.
At any rate, I hope all is well with everyone, and that Hanna is just an inconvenience and not a big deal for you.

Hi there!

My update on Hanna.
Early (4 AM) we had heavy rain and a brief thunderstorm.
-Boston Run to Remember Half Marathon, 5/29/11 (2:35:11, no training!)
-Corporate Run, 3.5 miles 6/2/11 (36:38, 4 days after running the half!)
-BAA 10k, 6/26/11 (1:04:52, wanted to be under an hour...)
-Tavern to Tavern
I'm in northern New Jersey and we are getting heavy rain. I think the wind is supposed to pick up later tonight but not too bad (20 mph or so).
We covered the pool today to avoid getting debris. No one is using it anymore now that school has started anyway.
Karen,
Just curious about your location in New Jersey.
Cape May Courthouse is about as south as you can get.
I am in central northern New Jersey (Morris County). About 30 minutes from NYC and about 30 minutes from
