COUNTDOWN TO SEPTEMBER 23rd...

We're only 6 days away from the post off against the WWF board.  Start thinking about strategies to keep our numbers high.  I think their board is busier than ours, so we're going to have to work hard!  Perhaps some games that people will enjoy playing...questions we will have fun answering...drumming up support from other boards...calling in sick from work (LOL)..."working from home" that day...sending the kids to a playdate so you can have some mommy time...etc.

I'm sure we're being "watched", so if you have games or questions to post, wait and surprise us with them next Tuesday.

And is the time period on Eastern Standard Time? In other words, if I start posting at 9:01 pm on 9/22 in California, will that count?

I think regular posting...newbie questions, recipes, etc., will stay in their respective folders so they don't get "lost" after the post off.

Right, but will the newbie and regular posts "count" - I'm guessing not if it goes off the total from the one thread. Seems unfair not to get "credit" for what is the purpose of the board and what the heart and soul of our work here is - supporting other and giving info about weight loss. THAT should count if you ask me, that's our mission - not jokes and games. Anyhow - just my opinion, but I'd like to use get credit for what we do. I personally will post answers to questions, recipes, informative articles about weight loss, etc. - things that will be of use to our board. But I probably won't bother with a thread of jokes and games.

That's what Cathy was looking into...to see exactly what counts as a post.
