I finally tried Baked Oatmeal last night.(we usually have breakfast for dinner one night a week) It was great the whole family loved it, they said it was like eating an oatmeal cookie for dinner.  When I dished it out it just feel apart.  Is this how it usually is?  For some reason I had in my head it was going to come out in nice little square pieces.  I did cut into it pretty quick since the everyone was hungry.  Do I need to let it set a few minutes before cutting?

Thanks,

Crystal

Just for you fruit and nut lovers!

I read the Baked Oatmeal post for the first time yesterday. I searched the post to find the receipe because it sounded so good.

Las night I went home and made it for my family ( for breakfast this morning). I decided to add in a small amount of pecans and some chopped dried figs. OH MY GOSH!!! It was wonderful. I thought my husband would eat the whole pan. And he is not that into 'health food'.

Thanks for sharing the post!

That sounds great, but keep in mind that figs are a Phase 3 food.
