Have you seen the commercials for the new v8 soup? I am wondering if they are "legal" I picked up the butternut squash soup today. Here is the info:
1 cup serving size
Calories 140
Fat 2g - 1 sat fat, 0 trans fat
Cholesterol 5 mg
Sodium 750 mg
Total Carbs 28g - 3g fiber, 6g sugar
Protein 3g
Ingredients: butternut squash, water, potatoes, carrots, milk, less than 2% of the following: modified food starch, salt, dehydrated petatoes, sugar, yeast, butter, dehydrated onion, maltodextrin, corn oil, celery, onions, parsley, cornstarch, spice extract, flavorings.
--They have some other flavors, but the store was sold out. I hear that the corn in the best, but I know it isn't okay at all. I figure with the potatoes in this one, it is out, too. It will still be good for the kids.

Why not make your own butternut squash soup?
Boil butternut squash and chopped celery in veggie broth and maybe 1 tsp of butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon and cayenne pepper until soft (20 minutes). Puree with hand blender and add some milk.
